Ahmedabad has a new destination for parties, or family evenings out. But this destination is a moving one. It’s a double-decker bus converted into an open-air restaurant. The upper deck is open roof-top with a seating arrangement for group dinings.

It’s called Hijack-2.0, where the food is just a part of an exciting experience.

It starts at the guest lounge of Novotel Ahmedabad on SG Highway. The patrons are served a refreshing mocktail as a welcome gesture. Then the 90 minutes bus ride is another experience to look forward to.

The three-course meal comes from the kitchen of Novotel and served by their accomplished staff on the bus cruising through western Ahmedabad’s beautiful evening skyline. The bus cruises on the roads at a pleasant cruising speed no more than 20 kmph.

Onboard the bus it can be a wonderful stage to express ourselves through music, singing, or even dance. It’s a 90-minute joy ride. We will love to get hijacked.
